Snorkeling is a great beginning activity for kids to get them used to a mask, snorkel and fins. While there is no age limit or requirements, the child must be able to swim in water over their head in our pool. Call or come in to register for class.

The Aquatic Realm
Course Cost $150.00
For Kids 8 – 11 years old. Ready, Set, Dive!!!! What could be cooler than floating weightless over a reef with a digital underwater camera or going on a night dive to discover all the neat night creatures? Well maybe building a space station or using a lift bag to recover a lost treasurer. Sound like fun? Then the PADI Seal team is waiting for you. The adventure of a lifetime begins as an Aquatic Realm PADI Seal. This 2 evening course introduces the basics of Scuba Diving skills and knowledge while preparing the seal for monthly AquaMission adventures to enhance and excite. This is a confined water (swimming pool) activity only. The Seal course cost is $150.00 per diver. Included: Seal course materials, 2 day course instruction and Seal Certification Card. Prerequisites are a Bubblemaker or Discover Scuba Experience. Registration is required and course homework is required before the first class. 937-428-9836 to register.

The Aquatic Realm

For Kids 10 years and older. You’re a pro at the underwater DPV (dive propulsion vehicle) course and building a compass is a piece of cake. On your last dive expedition you mapped a reef and oh yeah, you created a new hand signal for the fresh water fish in Ohio. Sound like fun? This is just another day of diving for the Underwater Explorer. The Underwater Explorer Team is for you if:
You want to learn to Scuba Dive. or You are a PADI Seal or Master Seal. or You are already a Certified Diver.
This custom course uses the PADI Open Water Diver multimedia materials and our website to introduce diving knowledge and skills. So from day one you will be on the path to Junior Open Water Diver, if you aren’t already. Getting started is easy, just watch the great video and read chapter one from the DVD and you’re ready to attend your 2 evening course to become an Underwater Explorer. Then it is all about the diving.
Course cost ranges from $30.00 to $150.00 depending on the diving level you enter the program. Included: Explorer course materials, course instruction and Explorer Certification Card. Now that you’re a Seal let’s go diving! On a monthly basis and at our Seal AquaMissions camp you will join other Seals and experience the following missions. Creature ID Snapshot Navigation Night Wreck Search/Recovery Inner Space Environmental Skin Diver Safety Diver Shark Diver Mystery Missions Aquamissions are $30.00 each and registration is required to insure proper supervision. 937-428-9836 to register. A three mission card can be purchased for $75.00 (saves $15.00 and time on mission day). Most missions last about 90 minutes.

JR. OPEN WATER SUMMER CAMP (ages 10 -15) Course Cost $450.00 |

This is the classroom, pool & open water diving of the Jr. Open Water course. In a class with divers your age, you will learn to dive and have fun at the same time. Pre-requisites for this course are Seal, Explorer or Discover Scuba evaluation dive. Upon completing the course the rating issued will reflect the age restrictions for depth and supervision. Ages 10 & 11 will be limited to 40 feet and diving with either a certified parent/guardian or professional. Ages 12-14 will be limited to 60 feet and must be accompanied by a certified adult diver. 15 and older receive a standard certification rating for open water. At 15 all junior ratings can be upgraded. Depth and Supervision restrictions will apply to your age at certification. At age 15 your certification can be upgraded to Open Water Diver with an application fee. Click here for Summer Camp information. |

The PADI Jr. Advanced Open Water Diver certification is for kids 12 - 14 years old. The course has the same course requirements as the adult Advanced Open Water course with one restriction. The maximum depth for a diver 12 - 14 years of age is 70 feet. Upon reaching 15 the Jr. rating can be upgraded to a full advanced rating at a PADI Dive Center for a fee. |

Become a The Junior Master Scuba diver program is our journey to the black belt of Scuba Diving. This programs ends with the highest non-professional rating obtainable in Scuba Diving. This course fits nicely into career paths in marine biology, science, aerospace, education, military and the dive industry. Take the challenge to become a PADI Master Scuba Diver today. Master Scuba Diver rating requires the following: Open Water Diver (or Junior), Advanced Open Water Diver (or Junior), Rescue Diver (or Junior), 5 PADI Specialties (diving or non-diving) and 50 logged dives.
