Aquatic Realm Scuba Center was chosen as one of the fifteen national retailers to receive this prestigious award. With over 600 nominations of dive retailers from the United States and only two stores in the Midwest area receiving the awards, we are proud of our accomplishment and will continue to strive to meet the high standards set by this award.

Excellence In Retailing Awards

The Council On Retail Excellence, C.O.R.E., operates in association with DEMA and is dedicated to the improvement of the diving industry. Members of C.O.R.E. include manufactures and certification agencies which understand that retailers are the heart and soul of our industry, and who also realize that if they are to be successful themselves, they must first ensure the success of retailers. C.O.R.E. was formed in early 2005.

Beyond helping the retailer, C.O.R.E. is dedicated to the idea that if the diving industry is to successfully compete against other recreational industries we must begin to function as a coordinated industry with one common purpose: To create happy customers who buy our products and services and continue to dive throughout their life.

As a family oriented Dive Center, we like to take time to be with our families.

We will be sharing the following holidays with our families and will be closed:

Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving,

Christmas Day and New Years Day.

What is a PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Center.

A PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Center, is a membership level that is awarded to progressive PADI Dive Centers that excel in providing divers with a full range of diver education programs from entry-level training up through instructor-level certifications, equipment selection, and experience opportunities. To qualify as a PADI Five Star IDC Dive Center, an operation must meet elevated service and business standards, and promote and offer PADI courses as their only recreational diver training. These dive centers also actively promote aquatic environmental awareness and embrace the PADI System of diver education, with a commitment to providing customers with quality products, services and experiences.

As a PADI 5 Star IDC Facility, that also earned the elite rating of National Geographic Dive Center, we can provide all of your diving education needs from Open Water Diver to IDC Staff Instructor. What makes us unique is that we have a full time Course Director on site that allows for customizing your diving education. You can sit down in person with the Course Director and map out your diving career. This also assures you that you are receiving the most current and update training that PADI has to offer. This is what we do for a living.

We have a children's program that has received national recognition and only continues to grow and strengthen. From 8 - 15 years of age we offer top-notch courses designed for today's children and tomorrow's future divers.
